High Road Is Always The Best Road

We all have probably seen the movie "Horrible Bosses". Well in case you haven't, the movies basically is about 3 guys who are fed up with bosses they hate...sound familiar? Well these guys set off on a scheme to kill their bosses but long story short realize that doing it won't make them any happier. Well this weekend I had an issue with someone who called my boss and told an utter and complete lie to him and as you probably might have guessed, my boss took her side and proceeded to chew me out without as much as listening nor wanting to listen to my side of the story. At first I was extremely upset until i realized, what does getting pissed off and going into "attitude" mode really do for you? It's not gonna change the boss or the other person's opinion so you're wasting your time by raising your blood pressure. So I just accepted it as "it is what it is" and moved on. Later last night when my head had cooled I just decided that the best way to deal with horrible bosses is to be so successful that you can learn to be your own boss. I had already been planning to get my personal trainer certification for quite some time and hopefully by this time a year from now will have my own PT service. And the plan is to be successful enough that I will make more money than those two people combined and never look back. So for now i will just keep praying and working toward that goal because at the end of the day, those people are much better off alive. That way I can rub their nose in my success and not feel bad by doing it! Until next time...Peace!

Simply Me

I am a simple guy by most people's standards...i am simple in a lot of ways. I lead a simple life, by doing simple things. I drive a simple car, live in a simple apartment, have a simple job, live by simple means and treat people in a simple manner, the same way i want to be treated. So when you see me write, you might think that I am anything but simple but that's the beauty of simplicity...it never changes yet it's so complex and it simply takes getting to know me and then you can simply love me and adore me because we are all simple people in our own way but decisions we make and how we handle them makes a simple life complicated sometimes but at the end of the day we realize that once we strip all the emotion, drama and chaos surrounding us away then we are....well, simple.
