Starting Over: Back To The Basics

Well over the past few months i've been trying new things to improve my strength, endurance and overall athletic ability by adding a few things and trying some new things, started adding plyo and track & field training to my routine on non lifting days but on lifting days i had been trying different things as well, most recently, Powerbuilding, which is in a nutshell a combination of strength, power and endurance techniques with reps ranging from 3 to 40 reps. The problem was for me is that it just wasn't something that worked for me. It didn't cover a variety of exercises that i personally like because they work for me. So i've decided to go back to what i know. Heavy lifting and lots of volume....i'm talking at least 4 exercises each workout for 4 sets and at least 10 reps per set. It's what works for me. I'm a hard gainer in spots like legs and back but even when doing what i know, they see growth that i don't see trying other things. Sometimes you just have to stop trying to fix what's not broken so i'm no longer gonna tweak a system that's just fine. So until next week peeps, work hard, train insane and DREAM STRONG!!!
